Peer Critique 2.5% Deadline: Thursday, Feb 12, 12 noon Post a short critique of your peer's proposal (300-500 words, max) on the wiki. You must review everything that they've posted in relation to their proposal, including the milestones, schedule, description, bibliography and scrapbook, any questions, forms, etc. HOW: Go to their proposal page, click on the discussion tab at the top and post your critique there. Include wordcount and your time-stamped signature at the end --- What to include: - Describe the project as it comes across to you in your own words. If there are things that are unclear to you or you want to know more about, mention them so. - Analyze the relationship between the concepts, theory, content, form and methodology of the project. Again, you need to focus on what comes across from the proposal. Again, if something is unclear to you, point it out. - Interpret the project: What does it make you think of, remember, feel? How does it relate to your own experiences, knowledge, etc? - Evaluate: What is your opinion of this project? What do you think would be the measure of success for this project? Ask questions that seem important to you. Comment on what seems most or least important. Point out what is missing. Highlight the strengths and weaknesses. Feel free to look at their earlier version (proposals posted at the end of last term), but the intention of this critique is to give feedback on the present version. ==== Grading: I will be reading all the critiques, but the person receiving the critique will grade it and send me the grade. Criteria: 1) Quality of engagement: how relevant, thoughtful, helpful 2) Inclusion of all 4 parts: description, analysis, interpretation, evaluation 3) Timeliness ==== Who critiques whose proposal?
